Esquina El Watusi is the local’s favorite bar

Esquina El Watusi is a local dive bar with laid back ambience that caters to locals as well as outsiders. El Watusi is located a block away from the historic Calle Cerra.

Like the buildings around it, Watusi is adorned with murals from different local artists that visit for a drink frequently. Because Watusi’s small indoor area, the party is on the street. On Friday’s a band plays traditional Puerto Rican music right outside the bars doors. People start dancing on the street, and the party does not stop until 2am.

If you are in the area, I highly suggest that you stop by Watusi to order a natural juice drink, grab a fold out chair and chill outside.
